These days, anyone can easily start a blog. Flipside? A WWW-wide sea of copycats and mediocrity. At the end of the day, it’s really up to you: Do you want your blog to just be a waste of cyberspace? OR DO YOU WANT TO MAKE YOUR BLOG WORTH READING?

BLOGWORTHY is a creative blogging workshop that will arm you with the tools to create quality blog content that beams bright with your personality.

In the span of three sessions, I (Arriane of http://wanderrgirl.com) will take you by the hand and guide you through the exciting journey of finding your personal brand, and determining your distinct blogging voice. After getting that laid out, you’ll have a more focused approach when we go into familiarizing yourself with blogging tools and jargon, making your photos pop, and the basics of creative writing.

This is great for people who really want to step up their blogging — this workshop will leave you reeling from the crazy level of inspiration and ideas! It will be fun, hands-on and activities-based, complete with special guests and blogging challenges (promise to not make it feel like doing homework on summer vacation though!). Plus, it’ll be a fun way to get to know and network with other bloggers.

Details & requirements

Basic requirements:

• 15 to 25 years old (this is totally flexible though! If you’re over 40 but have a terrific blog idea, we would love to meet you!)
• You must either: have a blog, be planning to start a new one, or want to revamp or refine your current one
• You *MUST* have a laptop you can bring to class (important, and just about the only technical requirement); it would also be great if you have Photoshop already installed
• Most importantly, you must have the drive & passion to make your place on the web more visual, creative and engaging!

Dates: May 11, 18, and 25 (all Fridays)
May 11: 1 to 6PM (5hrs)
May 18: 9 to 6PM (8hrs)
May 25: 1 to 6PM (5hrs)

Fee: The introductory fee for this 3-day 18-hour workshop is set for Php 1500 inclusive of jam-packed sessions, photobooth fun, one-on-one consultation with me (woohoo!), workshop kit, food & refreshments.
